The Thing About Austen Turns Five
We are now officially old enough to head off to podcast kindergarten, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
When we started The Thing About Austen five years ago, we had no idea if anyone would even be interested in a podcast about the “things” in Jane Austen. We only knew that it was the kind of podcast that we ourselves wanted to make. Much to our surprise and delight, people listened, and we continue to be astounded by the response to our particular brand of niche nerdery. Now, many episodes later, we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who takes the time to listen.
Thank you to all of you who have supported the podcast, told a friend about it, and just generally shared your enthusiasm for Austen and her novels. Happy birthday to all of us!
